In my last post I had a few small oil paintings I finished in last 6 month. Here is a good example how a small painting idea can be revisited in larger and more detailed painting.

“Frosty Day”, Oil on canvas 12”x16”
Original painting is available for sale.

I like to paint the small paintings before I move on a bigger scale. It gives me some sense of color pallet and composition for the future paintings, but some ideas just simply look great in a small size. These 5 mini oil paintings are done on 6”x6” wrapped canvases with painted edges. Each painting is available for sale for $150.
