These are two new paintings that will be at the show. I have done yellow tulips and pink calla lilies before and I like it so much that I decide to revisit this idea with different compositions.

I will take a break from watercolor miniatures to concentrate my time on a few oil paintings that I have been working on for over a year. One of them has been sitting on an easel for more than 19 months! I think it is time finish them! The “Three Lilies”’ painting has been my priority – it was a commissioned work. I’m very pleased with the result and was glad (and a little relieved) when the new owners where happy with the finished painting.
